We’ve been working with WordPress for a while and, since we’ve started, many plugins have been a part of our clients success. So we’ve put together a list of the ones we like the most. Here it goes:

1. BackupBuddy
This is one of the plugins we use the most and we love it. The guys at the iThemes have done a wonderfull job developing it.

What it does? It backs up your website for peace of mind. Not only that, it makes it really easy for you to restore or move it to a different hosting account. Another nice feature is that it can send the backup to a remote location. It could be a through FTP to a different server or even to Amazon’s Storage service. And for that, we love it!

2. Gravity forms
Gravity forms is such a great plugin. It allows you to create any kind of form you want. From a newsletter subscription form to a form to gather customer feedback. We mainly use it to create simple contact forms, but there is a lot of documentation on it and it is very easy to customizable. It sends email notifications to you when a form is submitted and you can customize the confirmation message to the user who submitted the form.

3. Visual Composer
This is a great plugin for structuring content. Drag and drop content builders have come a long way and this plugin is great.

What it does? It allows you to create columns and rows of content to make your posts and pages more visually appealing. It’s easily customizable by developers which allows them to create custom elements to be used within the columns, from image sliders to custom widgets.

4. SEO by Yoast (FREE)
One of the most famous wordpress plugins, I would say. We use it on all of our websites and it is very easy to teach our customers on how to use it.
What it does? It’s a search engine optimization (SEO) plugin that helps you optimize your website and content for better search engine indexation. It’s very easy to use and it works great.

That’s our list! Now it’s your turn. Tell us what your favorite plugin is, or if you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
